Johanna's blanket
The blanket Johanna is a Finnish design product made from genuine natural materials. With its delicate apple blossoms and leaves accompanied by midsummer roses, the blanket becomes a piece of art on the sofa or wall.
The Johanna blanket is part of the Ostrobothnia series. The pattern is created by Sofie Staffans-Lytz in collaboration with Aveo, and the blanket is manufactured by Annala in Lappo.
The blanket is woven in two layers with jacquard technique. Between the two layers run woolen threads that give the blanket airiness and make it feel extra warm.
The blanket is of high quality. It is smooth, warm, and has a long lifespan.
Ventilate the blanket often and preferably when it's below zero degrees. The wool material cleans itself and the blanket is refreshed. If needed, the blanket can be washed at a dry cleaner's with wool emulsion wash or gently by hand in lukewarm water or in a washing machine with a wool program at 30 degrees. The blanket becomes very heavy when wet, and therefore washing at a dry cleaner's is recommended, as the home washing machine needs to handle at least 8 kg.
