Sunflowers for Gittan wallpaper
Sunflowers for Gittan is a made-to-measure mural wallpaper by Mrs Mighetto, featuring the long-eared Miss Selma among large sunflowers, lush leaves and small white flowers. Swallows fly above the foliage, while a little squirrel hidden in the details gives the scene another playful element to discover.
The design is a tribute to Gittan, remembered as a prima ballerina, a lover of stories and a devoted admirer of sunflowers. Its abundant floral world brings a storybook character and a flourishing garden together, balancing playfulness with delicate, carefully observed details.
Sunflowers for Gittan comes in four colorways: Apricot, Blue, Pink and White. Each version has a vanilla-toned background, small white flowers and softly colored green stems and leaves. The large-scale motif creates a cheerful, leafy and imaginative atmosphere in a nursery or playroom, while the cohesive palette keeps the overall expression harmonious.
The base design measures 270 x 380 cm. It can be repeated sideways for wider walls and cropped to suit the room. The wallpaper is printed in Sweden on FSC-certified non-woven paper reinforced with nylon fibers and made to the wall dimensions supplied with the order.
